Class Description:

KTBYTE is proud to support students who wish to participate in the Beaver Computing Challenge (BCC) contest. Students will take the contest online in early November. Unlike other contests like the USA Computing Olympiad (USACO) and Australian Informatics Open (AIO), the BCC does not involve any programming- only algorithmic problem-solving.

The goal of this BCC Competition Support session is to guide families through the process of signing up and participating in this contest!

Competition Support includes:

  1. 1. Live online meeting with general information about the BCC, including skills required, schedule, format, content, preparation timeline, etc.
  2. 2. Prep Materials: Families who register will receive a recording of the information session and instructions for how to prepare on your own.
  3. 3. Offline Support: Contact our customer service and academic advising teams at any point for help preparing for or taking the contest.

The information session is live online and run in English- we will also provide support and Q+A in Mandarin. All students will be registered to participate in the BCC competition.

If you don't see times listed for this yet don't worry! You can still sign up and we'll reach out within 2 months of the contest to schedule the information session.
